Bio

We are so excited to welcome our first (soon to be) collegiate athlete to our brand ambassador lineup. A rising Freshman of the Crimson Tide slated to start this Fall, we expect the Junior golfer’s success to follow her and she will hit the ground running at the University of Alabama. Kynadie will not be a stranger to a golf team, she has been a staple on the East Team of the TN Junior Cup hosted by PGA Tour Professional Scott Stallings and a valuable member of the East Team roster in the 2021 AJGA Wyndham Cup.

At a young age, Kynadie has been making headlines in the golf world, most recently for more than just her golf game with her tremendous heart and support of fellow competitors. In February, Kynadie competed as an amateur in the East Coast Women’s Pro Golf Tour where she was able to make a difference in one professional’s life that resonated with people throughout the country when word got out about her generous movement. While playing in pretigous events, including 7 USGA Championship appearances, Kynadie volunteers with junior clinics and helps lead and inspire the next generation of golfers.

There’s so many reasons why we are thrilled to have Kynadie on board representing Teleri Athletics as one of the faces of our women’s golf apparel. Besides all of her amazing accolades presented in her bio, we love her confidence, friendship and kindness she exudes to everyone around her on and off the course. We can’t wait for Team Teleri to watch more accomplishments from her unfold and learn more about her amazing competitive spirit and love for the game.

Ask Kynadie

What is one of your favorite memories playing golf?

This year I played in an East Coast Pro Women's Golf Tour event and tied for 1st with Therese Warner (professional) after 54 holes. After realizing I would be taking away a good sum of money from her if I won the playoff hole, I decided to concede the playoff because I believed it was the right thing to do since I would not gain anything from that win. It was a great moment for me because it was so cool to see Therese’s reaction and how happy she was. I also learned that I can compete with professionals at a high level.

What factors contribute to you playing your best golf?

Driving the ball well and making lots of putts are big factors for me when I play my best golf.  When I am constantly giving myself chances for birdie and am able to get up and down from anywhere, I know I can score well.

Biggest takeaway from junior golf.

My biggest takeaway from junior golf is that everyone has their own path.  I found up until recently that I felt as if I was behind because I had not won anything big, but as I have gotten older I have realized that I have my own path for my success, and that my success will happen when it happens.

What are you most excited for playing collegiate golf?

I am most excited to be around my teammates who are also trying to play good golf and want to win. I have not had many people to practice or play with in my hometown so I am really looking forward to working hard and competing with my team. I am also excited to compete for national championships.

What is the best golf advice you've ever received?

Try and hit it as far as you can was probably some of the best golf advice I have received.  I hit it about 270 yards total and am constantly working on increasing distance. It is such an advantage to be able to reach par 5’s in two and to have wedges into greens where other girls are hitting 7irons.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In 5 years I see myself playing on the LPGA tour during my rookie year and competing in some of the biggest golf tournaments in the world. I see myself working hard to become one of the best female golfers ever as well as being able to travel the world.

What is your biggest goal in collegiate golf?

My biggest goal in collegiate golf is to win an individual and team National Championship. That is a tournament I have watched since I was a little girl and have always wanted to win.

Favorite practice drill.

What is the strongest part of your game?

The strongest part of my game is probably my driving or putting.  I am also a grinder and rely a lot on my short game to get me out of trouble.

What is the best thing you've gotten out of golf?

Going to tournaments like the U.S. Junior or the U.S. Amateur and being able to meet little kids who look up to you and want your autograph has been such a surreal experience for me.  Those moments where I am able to interact and give back to the game I love so much is amazing.

Favorite Teleri Athletics piece.
