BLAKESLY BROCK

Amateur Golf

BIO

Golfer. Best Friend. Champion. Blakesly Brock. The Chattanooga native joins the 2022 Team Teleri Brand Ambassador class after a tremendous surge back into competitive golf in 2021 following her stellar career as a University of Tennessee Lady Vol Golfer (2014-2018). Though her step down from competitive golf was short, this break seemed pivotal to take her to new heights and reset her focus going into a new season of golf competition. As we saw on the course first hand in 2021, she emerged better than ever, with a new mindset and confidence that can be felt from inside and outside the ropes.

Impressive as she is on the course, her resume fails to show her dedication to family, friends and life outside of golf. We love that Blakesly demonstrates if professional golf isn't in your plan, your career doesn't have to end after college, and you can still continue to break ground and shatter expectations as an amateur. In 2021, Blakesly won back-to-back events: the Tennessee Women's Mid-Amateur and the U.S. Women's Mid-Amateur. She is the third-youngest champion in the history of the USGA event, and in her rookie year of being eligible to qualify to play. With this win, Blakesly earned a victory tour of exemptions, most notably the 2022 U.S. Women's Open, the 2022 & 2023 Women's Amateur and the next 10 U.S. Women's Mid-Amateurs.

Previously Blakesly Warren, she is now married to Mitch Brock, and they share arguably the cutest Golden Retriever, Bunker. Blakesly was Teleri's college roommate for 3 years and is an incredible, supportive longtime friend and teammate in both high school and college. Our Blakesly Skort, one of our first four introductory skorts to Teleri Athletics, is named after her. We are truly honored and thrilled to officially welcome Blakesly on board to lead to Team Teleri, and we can't wait for you to learn more, support and see her shine.

ASK BLAKESLY

Winning the US Women’s Mid-Am! Having my husband on the bag with family and friends there watching made it even more special.

Belief in myself and my ability to execute the shot I want to hit. A positive, unstoppable attitude and confident body language.

Attitude is everything and it’s contagious! The mindset you, your coaches, and your teammates bring to practice every day can make or break your success.

I love the adrenaline of competing and I love to win! There’s no better feeling than when hard work pays off under pressure.

Love the challenge of the day, whatever it may be. Love golf for what it really is — a game of mistakes and unpredictable situations.

I really try not to look too far ahead into the future and just enjoy the present moment. I do hope that in 5 years I can say I’m still playing competitive golf and loving it.

Amateur golf!

Set up 3 3-footers, 3 6-footers, and 3 9-footers randomly around a hole. The 3-footers are worth 1 point, the 6-footers are worth 2 points, and the 9-footers are worth 3 points. The goal is 12 points.

My short game!

Golf has given me so much! I’ve met so many great people and some of my very best friends on the course. I’ve also been lucky enough to travel to some amazing places that I may have never gotten to see otherwise. Golf has really shaped me into the person I am today, and I’m so thankful for everything this game has given me.

The Blakesly Skort! 😉
